Mega Group USA, the buying group for independent CE, home-furnishing, appliance and mattress retailers, has provided another competitive asset for its members: a digital marketing playbook for durable-goods retailers.
The book, titled “Re:Market: New digital techniques independent retailers can use now to compete better, grow faster and work smarter,” was provided to attendees of the group’s annual convention in New Orleans last month.
It’s the second book published by Retailer Web Services (RWS), a Mega buying group partner, and was written by TWICE guest columnist Jennie Gilbert and James Kane, Jr. (RWS COO and CEO, respectively) as a result of the company’s work as a leading provider of e-commerce, digital marketing, web design and automated software solutions.
RWS’ first book, “Re:Think: 11 surprising things you should do now to win retail customers in the digital age,” focused on how consumers shop online for furniture, mattresses and major appliances for the home. “Re:Market,” meanwhile, distills the digital marketing opportunities into actionable tactics ideal for independent retailers.
The book features an afterword by Erik Qualman, Pulitzer Prize-nominated author of the No. 1 international bestseller “Socialnomics” and a past keynoter for Mega Group.
“‘Re:Market’ explains complete topics with refreshing simplicity and includes plenty of research to back up its sound advice on what retailers should do first, later and never,” said Mega member Judy Ann Villanueva, trade marketing specialist at BSH Home Appliances. “This down-to-earth digital marketing field guide can help any retailer master the latest winning techniques.”
A complimentary e-copy of “Re:Market” will be available at RetailerWebServices.com on April 10 and will be sold on Amazon in softcover and Kindle editions.
